Following the successful delivery of the 6,200-ton chemical tanker and China's first inland pure LNG-powered vessel, Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry reported another success on December 15: the world's first jack-up stone column foundation offshore platform built by the company was delivered to the owner, CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., opening a new chapter for the offshore engineering and shipbuilding industry in Yangzhong, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu. Relevant leaders from China Communications Construction Group, CCCC Second Harbor Engineering, and Shanghai Bestway Group, along with Sun Qiangui, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, and municipal leaders Pan Zaoyun, Dai Shaohua, Yu Dexiang, and Huang Chenggang, attended the delivery and signing ceremony.

The platform was contracted as general contractor and independently designed by Shanghai Bestway Ship Engineering Design Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shanghai Bestway Group, and jointly constructed by Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. It is the first offshore engineering platform delivered by Dajin Heavy Industry since it went into production, with a construction cycle of only 9 months from contract signing to delivery.

On behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Sun Qiangui congratulated Shanghai Bestway and Dajin Heavy Industry on the successful delivery. In his speech, he said that as an enterprise established less than three years ago, Dajin Heavy Industry has repeatedly stood at the forefront of advanced equipment industry development in China and even the world, from clean energy shipbuilding to the research and development of high-end offshore engineering platforms. This not only demonstrates the company's strong industrial strength and advanced technological reserves, but also drives the overall leap in the level of Yangzhong's port-side industries. He expressed the hope that Shanghai Bestway will leverage its technical and market advantages in ship engineering design to support and promote the rapid development of Dajin Heavy Industry and build the Clean Energy Equipment Industrial Park into a highland for high-tech industries and high-tech R&D. Regarding this project, Sun Qiangui noted that it is another successful cooperation between China Communications Construction and Yangzhong enterprises in equipment manufacturing products, following CCCC Third Harbor Engineering's construction of urban infrastructure such as the Yangzhong Third Bridge. He hopes that China Communications Construction and the city will continue to work hand in hand in urban comprehensive development, infrastructure construction, equipment manufacturing, and other fields to carry out in-depth cooperation and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
