1) Diverse types and specifications. The coastal areas of Zhejiang are typical soft soil foundations, while western Zhejiang is mainly mountainous, so pile foundation designs vary by region. For example, Ningbo commonly adopts the static pressing and extracting method, using bearing capacity as the index for driven-tube pile construction, while Wenzhou and northern Zhejiang use vibratory driving and extraction for friction piles; individual rural houses mostly use mixing piles or manual excavated piles. In addition, hammering, static pressing, drilling and other pile sinking methods are also widely used in industrial and civil construction projects, so pile driving machinery is diverse in type and specification.
2) Uneven design and manufacturing quality. According to statistics from construction sites, apart from engineering drilling rigs, less than 10% of pile driving machinery has undergone professional design and manufacturing; the rest is generally equipment that has been copied or assembled, with rough mechanical manufacturing processes, arbitrary changes to equipment specifications and parameters, and imperfect electrical protection being common problems.
3) Product standards need improvement. In recent years, the types and specifications of mainstream pile driving machinery products have changed greatly, but the product standards have not been updated accordingly. Apart from the industry standard JG/T5017-1999 "Hydraulic Pile Pressing Machine," which applies to fully hydraulic static pile presses, there is no corresponding industry product standard to regulate winch-type pile pressing machines.
4) Inconsistent use management. The government has no mandatory regulatory requirements for pile driving machinery, and relevant departments find it difficult to effectively manage pile machine manufacturers and users.
