The Dongdi Bridge is being rebuilt on the original bridge site after the old bridge was demolished by blasting. The bridge design load is Highway Class I, with a length of 115 meters and a width of 9m (carriageway) + 2×0.5m (railings). The total project contract value is approximately 4.9 million yuan, and the project has now entered the bridge pile foundation construction stage. At present, the construction of the Dongdi Bridge is progressing in an orderly manner as planned, and it is expected to be completed and opened to traffic around National Day next year.

The reconstruction of the Dongdi Bridge is an important measure taken by the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government to address the "last mile" problem for the people. After the new bridge is completed, the Gucheng-Gaoxian section of Provincial Highway 309 will be safer and smoother, and transportation for the people of Dongdi Town will be faster and travel more convenient.
