青岛重工研发的HW240-8B型可根据视野需要调整驾驶室高度的特种液压挖掘机近日顺利下线。产品各项技术指标通过国家质量检验监督中心验证，填补了国内空白。
据悉，此产品是青岛重工海斗工程机械部研发生产的。传统液压挖掘机的驾驶室均为固定结构，视野不够，无法满足作业要求，可升降驾驶室液压挖掘机可满足特殊作业要求。此产品在通用液压挖掘机基础上，驾驶室悬置于液压驱动的升降机构上，通过逻辑运算确定输出，实现驾驶室升降，精确实现恒速控制。
该产品可大幅降低用户的购置、维护成本，并可推广应用到以“专、精、细”为特点的港口的矿石及原木装卸、钢铁厂的废钢装载、铁路大宗散装物流中转站等需要提升视野范围的特殊需求的细分市场。
