Foundation Engineering Network News, June 1 — Concrete mixing station No. 6 of the Chengdu-Guiyang Railway Project Department of China Railway 15th Bureau Group of China Railway Construction Corporation successfully passed the owner's acceptance inspection. To date, 5 of the project's 6 mixing stations have passed acceptance inspection and been officially put into use.

The newly built Chengdu-Guiyang Railway, Leshan-Guiyang section, starts in Leshan City, Sichuan Province in the west and ends in Guiyang City in the east, with a main line length of 515.02 km, of which 258.577 km is in Sichuan Province, 79.299 km in Yunnan Province, and 177.144 km in Guizhou Province. The project's pre-station civil works consist of 16 sections in total. Pre-station construction section 13 is undertaken by China Railway 15th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., with a total length of 33.068 km, including 16,992 m of tunnels in 8 tunnels, 7,896.85 m of bridges in 26 bridges, 378 m of culverts in 16 culverts, and 67.02 km of ballastless track bed, requiring more than 1 million cubic meters of concrete in total.

In order to achieve self-sufficiency in concrete as soon as possible and ensure that construction production is not affected, the project department scientifically planned the number, locations, and construction scale of the mixing stations, set milestone targets, construction units, and responsible persons for each mixing station, and adopted other measures to continuously accelerate construction progress while ensuring safety and quality. Through unremitting efforts, the mixing stations successively passed acceptance inspection.

The No. 6 mixing station that passed acceptance inspection this time was constructed under the responsibility of the tunnel division. They earnestly implemented the Chengdu-Guiyang Railway construction policy of "high-standard start, high-standard management, and high-efficiency advancement," overcame practical difficulties such as poor transportation, shortages of water and electricity, and tight funding, strictly implemented the project department's decisions, and successfully completed the construction task.
The large-scale completion of the mixing stations provides strong support for the construction of the project's main works. At present, the project is setting off wave after wave of construction climaxes.
