On the morning of April 29, the Yantai Municipal Government held a commendation conference for model workers and advanced workers at the Yantai International Expo Center, commemorating the glorious festival of the working class and working people and solemnly commending the model workers and advanced workers who have made outstanding contributions to economic and social development. Zhang Jiangting, Secretary of the Yantai Municipal Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, and Meng Fanli, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, presided over the meeting. Jiang Landong, a team leader in the Production Department of Doosan Construction Equipment (China) Co., Ltd., and 150 others were awarded the titles of "Yantai Model Worker" and "Advanced Worker." Yantai's model workers and advanced workers are commended once every three years. This time, a total of 7 people from the Development Zone received the honorary titles of Yantai Model Worker and Advanced Worker.

　　As one of the first batch of welding technicians to join the company, Team Leader Jiang Landong has worked diligently and without complaint in his welding position for nearly 20 years. After being promoted to a management position, he took the lead in implementing the skills "mentoring and passing on" activity, and many of his apprentices have achieved excellent results in Yantai's welding skills competitions. Drawing on his many years of rich work experience, he led his team to complete an improvement project addressing the low processing efficiency and high labor intensity of excavator booms. This project won the company's BOB Grand Award in 2011, the Yantai "Top Ten" Rationalization Proposal Award in 2012, and the Third Prize of the Fourth Shandong Provincial Outstanding Technological Innovation by Employees in 2013. In his spare time, he actively fulfills his social responsibilities and actively participates in various volunteer activities. He can be seen in volunteer service projects such as afforestation, traffic direction, cleaning up illegal advertisements, and environmental sanitation maintenance. Years of dedication have also brought abundant rewards: he has been rated as an outstanding employee of the company five times, received the first batch of Model Worker honors from the Yantai Development Zone in October 1996, and received the Shandong Provincial Fumin Labor Medal in April 2000.
