At the 115th Canton Fair, posters printed with “Made in Guangxi, as Beautiful as Its Landscape” stood out. The Guangxi export brand logo, set against green hills and clear waters, shone brightly, symbolizing the perfect fusion of industry and nature. This is a true reflection of how Guangxi enterprises in recent years have focused on ecological and environmental protection, committed to technology upgrading, and worked hard to build a new green competitive edge.

As China's largest independent diesel engine manufacturer, Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. upholds the philosophy of “green development, harmonious win-win” and, centering on the two major themes of energy saving and environmental protection, has continuously intensified technology innovation and independent R&D. It has obtained 39 green technology patents, including clean combustion technology for engines, achieving a double leap in economic and ecological benefits. Its leading research project “Key Technologies and Industrialization of Energy-Saving and Environmentally Friendly Diesel Engines” and its participating project “Key Technologies and Engineering Applications of High Supercharging for Internal Combustion Engines under All Operating Conditions” won second prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award for two consecutive years.

In response to the “Green Development Plan” proposed at the 115th Canton Fair, and to better seize industry opportunities and win the international market, Yuchai brought the YC6TD marine electronically controlled diesel engine, which successfully completed sea trials in Beihai in February this year. The engine's cylinder block is made of high-strength alloy cast iron, featuring low vibration, low noise and good rigidity; its fuel system adopts an electronically controlled combined pump, with high injection pressure and flexible control of injection timing and injection quantity; the engine's rated power and speed are 441 kW and 1,500 rpm respectively, significantly outperforming similar domestic products; its emissions meet the IMO (International Maritime Organization) Phase II standard and have the potential to be upgraded to Phase III, ranking among the world's leading levels. It is a truly low-energy-consumption, low-emission “double-low” green product. In February this year, a deep-sea fishing vessel with two YC6TD marine electronically controlled diesel engines as main engines made a stunning debut in Beihai, Guangxi, winning widespread praise. When equipped with other brand power, the fishing vessel's maximum speed was just over 9 knots, while with the YC6TD marine engine it can reach 12.5 knots, an increase of more than 30%.

Over the past few days, Yuchai's booth at the Canton Fair has remained bustling, with a continuous stream of buyers coming to inquire and negotiate. Buyers from more than ten countries, including Russia, Thailand, Poland and the UAE, have shown strong interest in Yuchai's machinery products and reached clear distribution intentions.
