China State Construction Wins Phase I of Wuhan's Longest Land Tunnel Project

On March 10, it was learned that China Construction First Building (Group) Corporation, a subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, has won the bid for Phase I of the Wuhan Huanghai Road Tunnel project.

The Huanghai Road Tunnel, with a total length of 3.44 km, is located in the Wangjiadun Central Business District of Wuhan and is the longest land tunnel in the city. Once opened to traffic, the tunnel will effectively ease traffic pressure along this section and fulfill the function of distributing traffic within the Wangjiadun Central Business District.
