At the end of August 2013, the International Business Division of Yutong Heavy Industries received an order intention from a North American customer for three rotary drilling rigs. The customer stated that the construction schedule was tight, required a delivery period of only 45 days, and informed us that the rigs would be working in the Alaska region, where extreme temperatures reach around -50°C.

    　In such extremely harsh conditions, no domestic rotary drilling rig had successful construction experience. After a series of special discussions by Yutong Heavy Industries' technical department, a feasible plan was finally developed, customizing the rotary drilling rigs on their original basis to meet customer needs. Facing a delivery period of only 45 days, Yutong Heavy Industries coordinated urgently at all levels and worked together as a whole, ultimately overcoming the pressure of relocating while producing, compressing the delivery period of the three rotary drilling rigs from the normal 70 days to 45 days, and successfully shipping them on October 21, 2013.

In the Arctic construction environment of -50°C, the company's technical personnel and after-sales service personnel braved the severe cold and stayed at the construction site to guide users in operation and use. It was not until the Chinese Spring Festival that the two after-sales personnel returned home to rest. On the third day after the holiday, the two rushed back to the construction site to safeguard the project construction.

    　It is worth mentioning that there were six rotary drilling rigs at the construction site, two of which were produced by foreign companies, and the other four Yutong Heavy Industries rotary drilling rigs performed the best. After drilling a few piles, the user could not help but give a thumbs-up and say: "NICE MACHINE." The customer also sent a letter of thanks.
