Recently, good news came from the Xuzhou Science and Technology Bureau: the 2013 Xuzhou Science and Technology Progress Awards were officially announced, and among the 114 outstanding scientific and technological achievements selected, XCMG alone took home 13 major awards.

　　Among the 13 award-winning projects, the development and industrialization of the XCMG 1200K loader, the largest-tonnage loader in China, and the XGC28000 crawler crane won first prizes. Five projects won second prizes: the WJ04 multifunctional obstacle-clearing vehicle, the GR251H motor grader, the key technology research and industrialization of rough-terrain tire cranes, the XE700C hydraulic excavator, and the XR320D rotary drilling rig. Six projects won third prizes: the LNG natural gas loader, the XD31/41 double-drum vibratory roller and XM130K road milling machine, the XZ5000 horizontal directional drilling rig, the development and industrialization of hydraulic ports for 13-ton to 70-ton crawler hydraulic excavators, and the XZ5315JQJ 20-meter truss-type bridge inspection vehicle. The receipt of 13 Xuzhou Science and Technology Progress Awards marks the gradual improvement of XCMG's independent innovation capability and effectively boosts the pace of scientific and technological progress in Xuzhou.
