The city will concentrate superior resources such as funds, technology, talent, and effort to focus on 9 newly started highway projects: the continued construction project of the Huai'an District section of the connecting line from Donggou, Funing to the Cheqiao Interchange of the Xuzhou-Yancheng Expressway on Provincial Highway 348; the section from Cheqiao, Huai'an to Hongze County Seat on Provincial Highway 348; the Huai'an Airport Connecting Line on Provincial Highway 503; the Lianshui Ring Road section of Provincial Highways 346 and 235; the reconstruction project of the northern section of National Highway 235 in Xuyi and the Xuyi Ring Road section; the reconstruction section of Jiupu on the Jiupu Interchange to Tieshan Temple Tourist Highway in Xuyi County on Provincial Highway 601; the Huaiyin District section of Provincial Highway 429 and the Huai'an section of Provincial Highway 264; the section from Sanhe, Hongze to Qianfeng, Jinhu on Provincial Highway 420; and the Huangma Bridge. It will accelerate the reconstruction of 3 dangerous highway bridges: Shigang Bridge on Provincial Highway 331, Tuanjie River Bridge on Provincial Highway 121, and Chuanzha Bridge on Provincial Highway 328. At the same time, in strict accordance with highway engineering construction management standards, it will strengthen refined and standardized construction management, solidly carry out activities such as creating "brand projects" and "safe demonstration construction sites," and address common quality problems to ensure that the quality excellence rate of all projects reaches over 98%, safeguarding the safe, green, and sustainable development of highway construction.
