Earlier this year, Zoomlion's Agricultural Machinery Division had already begun operations, and the U.S. Agricultural Machinery Research Institute had also been established, with layouts in related fields launched in advance.

Chongqing will fully support the construction of the industrial park.

　　Data released by the Agricultural Machinery Association shows that as the world's largest consumer of agricultural machinery, China's agricultural machinery industry market grew from only 70 billion yuan in 2003 to 380 billion yuan in 2013, a 5.5-fold increase over 10 years, with a compound annual growth rate of 20.7%. It is expected to exceed 500 billion yuan by 2018.

　　It is reported that international agricultural machinery giants such as John Deere and CNH have successively set up factories or established joint ventures in China and have occupied the high-end market in certain segments (such as tractors). However, in China's agricultural machinery composition, the proportion of high-tech agricultural machinery is very low, and high-end agricultural machinery products basically rely on imports. At the same time, the level of agricultural mechanization in China varies greatly, with the comprehensive mechanization level in the southwest region being less than 20%. There is strong demand for agricultural machinery suitable for hilly areas, such as micro tillers and rotary tillers.
