Mr. Chen: The limited company has been around for more than 10 years.

Dandan: Then Mr. Chen can be said to have witnessed the company's development. Technology is the main force driving the industry's development, so Mr. Chen should be in a crucial position at the company. What are your main daily responsibilities?

Mr. Chen: Mainly technology, drawings, documentation, and so on.

Dandan: Mr. Chen's summary is very concise. I imagine the actual operation must be quite complex. What are the company's main products? What are their performance and features?

Mr. Chen: Our company mainly produces cement production equipment and equipment needed by concrete companies. Cement production equipment mainly includes various conveying, packaging, bulk, bag loading, ship loading, and various feeding and dust collection equipment, etc.; for concrete companies, we mainly produce elevated conveyors, stone washers, and silo-top dust collectors. As for performance and features, I'll mainly talk about the concrete company side. First, the elevated conveyor: many concrete companies' sand and gravel yards are not very large, so they cannot stockpile much material. If they want to stockpile more, they must use loaders to pile the sand and gravel layer by layer, which is the only way to pile more material, but the fuel cost becomes enormous; moreover, most use small conveyors connected one by one, which can pile at most about 6 meters high, and when changing sites it is very inconvenient and unsafe. With an elevated conveyor, it is different: the stockpile height can reach 12 meters, and it is very convenient. The operator can directly control it from the ground via wireless remote control, which is very convenient and safe. Here, there is a concrete company with a very large site, but they also use it. Their boss wanted to buy large quantities of material when sand and gravel prices were low. Didn't sand and gravel prices rise a while ago? I heard that just from this price increase, they have almost recovered the investment in the elevated conveyor through the price difference. As for the stone washer, everyone knows what it means: it washes the incoming raw stone to remove the mud on the stones, which greatly helps improve the concrete grade. Moreover, in many project tenders that concrete companies participate in, many require the stones to be washed; pipe pile companies also need this equipment. Ours is drum-type; the stones tumble inside the drum, so they are washed cleaner than with vibratory types. As for the silo-top dust collector, most concrete companies now use filter-cartridge type dust collectors on top of their silos. The filter cartridges go bad before long and need to be cleaned or replaced. If not cleaned or replaced, dust will escape, and that dust is cement—money—and also a major pollution problem for the environment. The country is now strict on environmental pollution, and frequent cleaning and replacement are inconvenient and unsafe, requiring climbing more than 20 meters each time. With our dust collector, this does not happen. For cleaning and replacement, we use filter bags and bag cages, which under normal use do not need replacement for at least two years. For cleaning, ours is pulse-jet and fully automatic, and we include a fan for exhaust; when turned on, there will be negative pressure inside the silo, which also greatly increases the feeding speed into the silo.

Dandan: Where are your company's products mainly sold?

Mr. Chen: Our products are sold all over the country and also exported abroad.

Dandan: How are sales this year?

Mr. Chen: Sales are okay. This year we mainly focused on the concrete company side.

Dandan: Do you have any new plans for next year?

Mr. Chen: I work on equipment, so I want to develop better, superior, more economical, and more environmentally friendly products.
