The matchmaking conference was hosted by the Provincial Economic and Information Commission and the Wuhu Municipal Government, aiming to further implement the provincial government's “Several Opinions on Promoting Steady and Relatively Rapid Economic Development,” build a service platform for exchange and matchmaking cooperation among equipment manufacturing enterprises across the province, and further promote the steady and relatively rapid development of the province's industrial economy. The conference brought together backbone enterprises from industries such as aviation, engineering machinery, electronics and electrical appliances, new energy, new materials, automobiles and parts. In front of the booths of the participating enterprises, crowds gathered, and the on-site exchange atmosphere between supply and demand sides was lively.

In recent years, the speed, quality and level of industrial development in Wuhu County have continued to improve. Xinwu Economic Development Zone has prominent industrial advantages in high-end equipment manufacturing and auto parts, electronics and electrical appliances, new energy, and other fields, and has initially been built into an important equipment manufacturing base in the province. In the first three quarters of this year, the 348 industrial enterprises above designated size in the county completed total output value of more than 30 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.3%, and added value of 7.54 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.4%.
