拥有专利的平行四边形铰接机构实现了较大范围的工作区域，钻桅设计为高强度材质的箱形结构，较高的刚性与抗扭曲性，有效地保证了钻孔精度，各铰接均采用免润滑轴承，转动灵活自如，360°上车回转任意角度排渣。
在控制系统方面，具有自主知识产权的智能控制系统, CAN总线和PLC控制系统的应用，包括钻桅垂直度自动/手动调整、深度自动检测显示、回转角度自动显示、智能故障诊断控制等。采用单排绳主卷扬，有效解决钢丝绳磨损问题，提高钢丝绳使用寿命。安装了观察主卷的红外摄像头，在驾驶室就能昼夜观察主卷钢丝绳使用情况。
该钻机的最大钻孔直径为2.5米，最大钻孔深度为88米。标配了集中润滑系统，维护保养更加便捷，并且整机通过了德国莱茵公司欧盟CE认证。
