目前国内用于外墙的保温材料以EPS和XPS的应用量最多，占市场70%以上的份额。但多数石棉不阻燃，而且大量采用六溴环十二烷制成阻燃剂在泡沫保温材料中使用，平时有毒物质会不断释放，遇到火灾时会迅速产生有毒烟气。
洛科威公司公共事务总监闫建亚介绍，岩棉是以精选的天然岩石为主要原料，经高温熔融离心吹制成的人造无机纤维，具有不燃、无毒、导热系数低、吸音性能好、物理及化学稳定性高、使用周期长等特点，瑞典及芬兰等国家80%以上的岩棉制品用于建筑节能，而中国目前只有约2%的建筑外墙以岩棉保温，市场潜力巨大。
此次展会由中国建筑节能协会、上海市绿色建筑协会联合主办。
