Greate's raise boring drill pipes use two different alloy steels according to different diameter and strength requirements: high-strength alloy steel and super-strength alloy steel.
High-strength alloy steel: Greate uses AISI-standard premium alloy steel, heat-treated to achieve higher strength.
Super-strength alloy steel: When the drilling rig output power is greater and thicker drill pipe diameters are required, Greate selects higher-performance super-strength alloy steel as the material. After heat treatment, it can achieve strength that other alloy steels cannot reach.
