The TS-QJ702 (A) Bridge Duct Grouting Quality Tester uses the elastic wave (acoustic wave) transmission method to test the overall compactness of grouting in prestressed bridge ducts. A giant magnetostrictive acoustic wave source excites elastic waves at the anchorage and girder at one end of the duct, and elastic wave signals are received at the anchorage and girder at the other end of the duct. By analyzing the propagation characteristics of the elastic waves within the duct and girder, the compactness of the duct grouting is determined.
