Based on the principle of elastic wave reflection, the TS-RD1203 (A) Elastic Wave Pile-Bottom Karst Cave Detector features a probe with a built-in high-power elastic wave excitation device and multiple elastic wave detectors. During testing, the probe is lowered to the bottom of the hole, and the system automatically excites elastic waves. As the elastic waves propagate toward the rock stratum at the hole bottom, they reflect back upon encountering structural bodies such as karst caves, fissures, and weak strata. Once the elastic wave geophone receives the reflected signals, the depth and position of the anomalous structural bodies can be determined based on changes in the intensity of the received reflected signals and their propagation time. By adjusting the probe to different positions at the hole bottom, multi-point detection in different directions at the hole bottom is carried out, achieving full coverage of hole-bottom detection and enabling sufficiently effective detection of the horizontal distribution and depth of karst caves at the hole bottom.
