Bailey panels can be used for highway bridges, assembled gantry cranes, launching girders, bridge erection machines, suspended baskets, etc. The Bailey truss combined gantry crane adopts assembled highway steel bridge components to assemble the gantry, and its span and column height are adjustable to suit different work sites. It is widely used in highway, railway, municipal, building, water conservancy and other construction projects, lifting and moving precast components at bridge construction precast yards, transporting and installing large girders beside bridge piers, and other on-site construction operations. The "hd200" assembled highway steel bridge increases the truss height and improves the load-bearing capacity; the Bailey pin rental enhances stability, improves reliability, and extends fatigue life. Compared with the 321 steel bridge, under the same combination information, the strength is increased by 33% and the stiffness is increased by 2.3 times. Applicable range: single-lane bridge deck clear width 4.2 m, Bailey panel models, combined span 9.14-76.2 m.

Bailey frames can be domestic or imported. Domestic Bailey frames are also called 321 steel bridges, and their basic component is the Bailey panel. The Bailey panel is welded from upper and lower chords, vertical members and diagonal members. The upper and lower chords are respectively double [10 channel steel, the diagonal and vertical members are I8 I-beam, and the truss component material is 16Mn. Each truss weighs 2.7 kN, and the unit length weight is 0.9 kN/m. One end of the upper and lower chords is the female end and the other end is the male end, collectively called joints; both male and female ends have pin holes. When connecting two Bailey panels, insert the male end of one section into the female end of the other, align the pin holes, and insert the pins. Bailey panel rental
The upper and lower chords have bolt holes, through which bolts are used to assemble reinforced chords or double-layer Bailey panels. Mechanical parameters of the Bailey beam assembly structure: Bailey beams currently have imported and domestic specifications. For domestic Bailey beams, the truss joints use 16Mn steel, the pins use chrome-manganese-titanium steel, the insert pins are made of spring steel, the welding rods are T505X type, and the bridge deck and wheel guard wood use pine or fir.
The cross-sectional area of imported Bailey is obtained by checking foreign steel structure data according to 4 ft channel steel; 2. The moment of inertia of imported Bailey truss panels (imperial units) is quoted from the "Bailey Truss Panel Manual" (published in Highway Design Data, Issue 5, 1964), and its truss panel section modulus is calculated from the moment of inertia; 3. The allowable bending moments of domestic and imported truss panels are values for a single row and single layer, each calculated from their allowable stress. If the specified allowable stress differs from the above, it should be calculated separately; 4. The allowable bending moment of three-row single-layer Bailey can be calculated by multiplying that of single-row single-layer by 3 and then by the non-uniformity coefficient 0.9; that of double-row double-layer can be calculated by multiplying that of single-row single-layer by 4 and then by 0.9; that of three-row double-layer can be calculated by multiplying that of single-row single-layer by 8 and then by 0.8; 5. The mechanical properties of domestic Bailey listed in the table do not include reinforced chords. Bailey panel
The number of truss rows for Bailey beams or Bailey columns is calculated according to the load magnitude, but shall not be less than two rows. Adjacent two rows are connected into a whole with support frames. Depending on the support frame model, one support frame can connect two, three or four trusses.
Bailey columns can have two forms according to the assembly method: bent columns and tower columns. When three or four trusses are placed in parallel and connected with support frames, the resulting column is a bent column; when four trusses are placed at 90 degrees to each other and connected with corner braces and support frames, the resulting column is a tower column. When standard trusses arranged at small spacing still cannot meet the force requirements, reinforced chords can be attached to the upper and lower surfaces of the standard trusses to enhance bending and shear resistance; new-type truss panels can also be used.
Before using Bailey panels, parameters such as truss selection and spacing should be designed according to the load, and stability issues should be considered with emphasis, especially for Bailey columns.
