According to a Taipei report from the editorial office of magazine, the three-day 2013 Cross-Strait Geotechnical Engineering/Geotechnical Technology Exchange Symposium came to a successful conclusion this afternoon. The convening of this conference promoted exchanges and cooperation across the Taiwan Strait in the design, construction, technology, theoretical research, and equipment manufacturing levels of geotechnical and deep foundation engineering. At the closing ceremony, Mr. Zhang Jinxun, Chairman of the Deep Foundation Construction Branch of the China Construction Industry Association, presented a bound volume of the 2010-2013 issues of magazine to Mr. Zheng Wenlong, Chairman of the Geotechnical Technology Research and Development Foundation, a Taiwan foundation, as a token of the profound friendship between compatriots on both sides of the Strait.
