National Security Education Day is a holiday established to enhance the national security awareness of all citizens and safeguard national security. On July 1, 2015, Article 14 of the National Security Law of the People's Republic of China, adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, stipulated that April 15 of each year shall be National Security Education Day.

　　Taking National Security Education Day as an opportunity, and to strengthen the confidentiality awareness of all employees, on the morning of April 15, the XCMG Foundation Engineering Machinery Business Division held a “Kick-off Meeting for the Comprehensive Inspection of Classified-Related Matters.” Members of the division's confidentiality office, heads of all units, and part-time confidentiality officers attended. The meeting deployed the comprehensive inspection of classified-related matters and provided specialized training on the specific work.


　　Liu Jiajia, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Chairman of the Labor Union of the Business Division, emphasized at the meeting that carrying out national security publicity and education and fulfilling national security laws and regulations is the bounden duty of all employees. As XCMG employees, fulfilling confidentiality and security responsibilities, enhancing confidentiality prevention awareness, improving confidentiality and security literacy, and perfecting the confidentiality prevention and control system are urgent under the current situation.
To safeguard national security and protect corporate trade secrets, the following must be done:


　　Do not say what should not be said. Do not publish inappropriate remarks or photos in public places, online, on social platforms, or elsewhere.

　　Do not go where you should not go. Do not go to certain military bases, military ports, or places involving classified products. Especially for personnel abroad, places that Party discipline and national laws explicitly prohibit visiting must not be visited, and the management regulations of the state and relevant parties must be strictly observed.

　　Do not do what should not be done. Do not steal, spy on, bribe for, or illegally provide enterprise or state secrets, and do not engage in other destructive acts that endanger national security.

　　Regarding the comprehensive inspection of classified-related matters, Secretary Liu pointed out:

　　All employees must attach great importance to the inspection of classified-related matters. Especially during the peak production period, work must remain orderly despite the pressure. The head of each unit is the first responsible person for confidentiality work. The head of each unit must personally arrange, personally check, and personally supervise, advancing implementation strictly, carefully, and practically. At the same time, training, management, and supervision of confidentiality awareness for classified-related personnel and all employees must be well carried out. Each part-time confidentiality officer must be highly responsible, fully committed, and carry out work related to the inspection of classified-related matters with high quality. The confidentiality office shall take the lead in promptly improving confidentiality rules and procedures and perfecting the confidentiality organizational system.

　　To strengthen national security publicity and education and enhance the national security awareness of all employees, the Business Division produced a themed poster for the Sixth National Security Education Day and displayed it in the employee cafeteria, where employees gather.


　　The 12339 public service promotional video and classified-related and foreign-related warning education videos were shown to all employees. Through seeing, hearing, perceiving, and other means, the political awareness, sense of hardship, and awareness of the enemy situation of all employees were strengthened, the bottom-line mindset was firmly established, the security of state secrets and corporate trade secrets was effectively safeguarded, and an iron Great Wall against espionage was built.


　　All employees must protect state secrets and corporate trade secrets; the enterprise shall protect corporate trade secrets through measures such as personnel defense, physical defense, and technical defense.
