Efficiently Supporting the Construction of a National Key Water Transport Project
Beijing-Hangzhou Canal Huai'an Fourth-Line Shiplock ProjectIt is a key water transport project of the national "14th Five-Year Plan" and a core project of Jiangsu Province's water transport system. Located at the confluence of the Huai'an Canal and the Northern Jiangsu Irrigation Main Canal, the project has a total investment of 944 million yuan and a construction period of 3 years. The project adds a 2,000-tonne second-line shiplock between the existing third-line shiplocks, with lock chamber dimensions of 290m×34m×5.0m, placing extremely high demands on the technical performance and reliability of construction equipment.

In the pile driving work for nearshore in-water steel pipe piles, the geology at this project is dominated bysilty clayand siltThe steel pipe piles have a diameter of 1000mm, a wall thickness of 10mm, and a total length of 21m, with 13.5m embedded in the soil, passing through the silty clay layer and entering the silty sand layer by 5.5m. The construction method adopted was theguide-frame-free lifting and driving method. During construction, the project faced multiple challenges includingcomplex geological conditions, high construction precision requirements, and a tight schedule. The client noticed that an adjacent section adopted a 230t excitation forcehydraulic vibratory hammersolution. Traditional hydraulic vibratory hammer equipment hashigh excitation force, small eccentric moment, high energy consumption, and increased construction costs, and also carries the risk of equipment resonance, places high demands on steel casing fabrication, and affects the precision of steel casings as well as the safety and service life of lifting equipment.
Faced with the above construction challenges, the client proactively contacted Shanghai Zhenzhong to seek a better solution. After understanding the project conditions, Shanghai Zhenzhong's technical team, based on detailed geological reports and technical calculations, recommended theEP200 resonance-free electric-drive vibratory hammerto the client. With itsindependently developedresonance-free variable-frequency variable-moment technology, the equipment, featuring aneccentric momentof 77kg·m and an excitation force of 105t, successfully replaced thetraditional hydraulic vibratory hammer with an eccentric moment of 33kg·m and an excitation force of 230t, significantly reducing equipment configuration and energy consumption burdens while meeting pile driving requirements.

Shanghai Zhenzhong EP200 Resonance-Free Electric-Drive Vibratory HammerThe outstanding performance of the Shanghai Zhenzhong EP200 resonance-free electric-drive vibratory hammer in the Huai'an shiplock project won high recognition from the construction contractor. The client reported that the equipment offersconvenient operationand strong adaptability, maintaining stable output under complex working conditions and providing reliable assurance for the project's on-schedule progress. It achieved the goal of delivering equivalent construction efficiency with"smaller equipment and lower energy consumption", fully demonstrating Zhenzhong's technical strength and product advantages in the high-end vibratory hammer field and providing a valuable reference solution for similar subsequent inland waterway projects.
Project Outlook Project Summary
The successful application in the Huai'an fourth-line shiplock project once again verified the core advantages of Shanghai Zhenzhong'sresonance-free vibratory hammerseries products in key infrastructure projects such asinland waterways, hydraulic shiplocks, and nearshore pile foundations. With product characteristics ofresonance-free operation, low energy consumption, high stability, and high precision, Shanghai Zhenzhong successfully addressed the pain points of traditional construction, providing a benchmark solution that isefficient, energy-saving, and reliablefor similar domestic water transport infrastructure projects and continuously supporting the high-quality construction of national water transport infrastructure.
