The sustained high temperatures have brought severe "roasting" challenges to outdoor construction. At the site of the Jinggangshan Bridge reconstruction project, nearly 400 builders brave the scorching sun and stay at their posts. Through scientific scheduling, staggered working hours and all-round logistical support, the project headquarters is making every effort to ensure the steady progress of bridge construction while guaranteeing project quality and personnel safety.
Liu Yongbo, a worker at the Jinggangshan Bridge project of CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., said that in order to protect the health of frontline employees and ensure the orderly progress of bridge construction, the project headquarters has arranged scientific scheduling, assigning workers to work during cooler periods and avoiding the hottest hours. At the same time, the project department has promptly conducted physical examinations for workers and distributed heatstroke prevention and cooling medicines, achieving simultaneous progress in safe production, efficient construction and considerate construction.
