Meanwhile, the geological conditions in the bridge site area are complex, with an extremely high proportion of cobbles in the main channel of the Yellow River, making pile foundation construction like "driving piles into a dense, hard pile of stones." Large-span steel girders are highly sensitive to temperature changes, and even slight thermal expansion and contraction can directly affect the millimeter-level alignment control accuracy of the ballastless track. In addition, the bridge crosses 7 roads and 5 intersections, passes through dense building clusters, 12 gas pipelines and 4 oil pipelines, and also spans a national-level wetland and a drinking water source protection area. The north approach bridge is adjacent to a strategic petrochemical reserve base, placing extremely high demands on construction organization, safety risk management, and environmental and water-soil conservation.

　　Facing these multiple challenges, the construction unit Henan Intercity Railway, the general contractor China Railway Design Corporation, and China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group conducted advance simulations and determined a construction plan of "factory pre-assembly + on-site cantilever erection." A dedicated pipe pile support was built beside Pier No. 183, an 80-ton gantry crane was used for lifting, and a third party carried out real-time monitoring of the steel girder's axis deviation, elevation, and stress changes. "It is like installing a navigation system on the steel girder, making its position, height, and stress visible throughout the process and ensuring not the slightest deviation," said Li Gang.

　　In response to the risks of high-altitude and over-water operations, the project department established a three-level safety management system, implemented a dedicated "one machine, one person" supervision mechanism for lifting operations, and set up a safety points supermarket to precisely assign safety responsibilities to every builder. All welds on the steel truss girder underwent 100% non-destructive testing, and the "three-inspection system" for quality was strictly implemented to build an all-round defense line for project quality.

　　"Going forward, we will steadily advance at a rate of one segment per week," said Li Gang. "We will keep a close focus on the core technical difficulty of completed-bridge alignment control, adopt a 'node monitoring + real-time adjustment' plan, and ensure that when this steel dragon is finally closed, its form perfectly matches the designed vertical curve."

　　As an important part of the Hohhot-Nanning corridor of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network, the Jiaozuo-Jiyuan-Luoyang-Pingdingshan High-Speed Railway, once completed, will form a cross-shaped intersection with the Zhengzhou-Xi'an High-Speed Railway in western Henan, deeply integrate into Henan's "rice-shaped" high-speed rail network, achieve one-hour rapid direct access within the western Henan region, and inject strong momentum into upgrading the transportation capacity of the central region and high-quality development along the route.
