On May 21, CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering") introduced that all 331 steel pipe piles of the SDIC Yangpu Port 100,000-ton public grain and oil terminal project had been fully sunk in place a few days ago, marking the completion of all pile foundation construction for the terminal and approach bridges. The project has officially entered the cast-in-place construction stage of the superstructure, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of the main structure.

As an important component of the Hainan Yangpu International Hub Seaport, the SDIC Yangpu Port 100,000-ton public grain and oil terminal project has a total investment of 997 million yuan and involves the construction of one new 100,000-ton public grain and oil terminal berth with a shoreline length of 316 meters. The structure adopts a high-pile beam-slab type, with two approach bridges, No. 1 and No. 2, built simultaneously. The designed annual throughput reaches 4.5 million tons, fully meeting the berthing and efficient operation needs of large grain and oil vessels. On May 20, all steel pipe piles of the SDIC Yangpu Port 100,000-ton public grain and oil terminal project were fully sunk in place, and the project officially entered the cast-in-place construction stage of the superstructure. The project will adopt advanced equipment and loading/unloading processes to achieve unmanned and information-based efficient management, integrating specialization, intelligence, energy conservation and environmental protection. It will meet the loading and unloading needs of the "International Health Food Port" project in the Yangpu Development Zone and related enterprises, directly serving port-adjacent grain and oil processing enterprises. Once completed, it can form a port-adjacent industry development model of "port in front, warehouse in the middle, factory at the rear," which is more conducive to the development and clustering of the grain and oil port-adjacent industry in Yangpu.

After the project is completed and put into operation, it will further enhance the grain and oil cargo throughput capacity of Yangpu Port, improve the supporting facilities of the regional grain supply chain, and help Yangpu build a comprehensive hub for overseas-oriented grain and oil processing, trade and transshipment. It is of great practical significance for safeguarding national grain transportation security and boosting the high-quality development of port-industry-city integration in the Hainan Free Trade Port.
