Recently, the first pile foundation of the TY-1 section of the Tianchang-Yizheng segment of the G9904 Nanjing Metropolitan Area Ring Expressway, constructed by the Third Engineering Company of China Railway No. 10 Engineering Group, was successfully drilled, marking that the main works of the project have officially entered the substantive construction stage.

The Tianyi Expressway starts at Leizhuang Village, Renheji Town, Tianchang City, Anhui Province, and ends at Huangqiao Village, Jinji Town (at the Anhui-Jiangsu provincial boundary), with a total route length of 17.2 kilometers. It is built to a two-way six-lane standard with a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour. The section undertaken by China Railway No. 10 Engineering Group has a main line length of approximately 6.5 kilometers, and its main construction content covers subgrade, pavement, bridges, culverts, and other works.
