Provincial Highway S204 is an important road in Dazhou's national and provincial road network. Currently, the reconstruction project of the Dachuan section of this line is being accelerated, and among it, the controlling project—the Qiaowan Grand Bridge—has made new progress in construction. Once the project is completed, it will further improve the transportation network in western Dachuan, bringing new convenience for local residents' travel and industrial development.

At Qiaowan Town in Dachuan District, machines are roaring at the construction site of the Qiaowan Grand Bridge. Construction workers are deployed across steel platforms, pile foundation points, and material processing areas, intensively and orderly advancing various procedures, creating a busy scene on site.

The Qiaowan Grand Bridge has a total length of 539.5 meters and a width of 13.5 meters, with a maximum span of 198 meters. It is one of the node projects along the entire line with high construction difficulty and demanding technical requirements. At present, the main trestle bridge and the steel platform erection for all pier positions have been completed and put into use after passing load tests. Currently, work is underway on lowering the reinforcement cage for Pier No. 0 and pouring cement concrete for the pile foundation of Pier No. 1, while Pier No. 2 is undergoing pile foundation drilling and reaming construction.
