Recently, at the construction site of the Fuding City Agricultural Products Logistics Distribution Center project, located on the west side of Chaoyin South Road in Tongcheng Subdistrict, multiple rotary drilling rigs stood tall, their drill pipes rotating as they penetrated deep underground to bore holes. Cranes, excavators, and other large machinery operated efficiently, while construction workers busily and methodically carried out their tasks as work progressed steadily on all fronts.

The Fuding City Agricultural Products Logistics Distribution Center project is a key provincial project in Fujian. It broke ground on January 28 this year with a total investment of 436 million yuan and a total floor area of 67,000 square meters. Its main construction components include an e-commerce incubation building, a wholesale research center, and an investment promotion building.

"The current construction challenge is the rainy season, with many rainy days making the site roads muddy and slippery, which affects construction progress and efficiency. We are making up for lost time by extending working hours and efficiently consolidating fragmented time. At present, we are fully focused on the pile foundation portion of the work, of which about 88% has been completed. Next, we will speed up the final stages of the pile foundation work and then immediately begin slope support construction to ensure the entire project advances on schedule," said Huang Zhenfeng, the project's production manager. The project is scheduled for completion in July 2027.

It is understood that once the Fuding City Agricultural Products Logistics Distribution Center project is completed, it will become a modern agricultural comprehensive hub integrating e-commerce incubation, wholesale display and sales, and scientific research services. It will strongly promote online sales and brand building for Fuding's agricultural products, advance the integration of the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, and inject new momentum into rural revitalization and regional economic growth.
