Currently, the Jiangnan Campus project of Quanzhou No. 5 Middle School has successfully completed engineering test piles and is making every effort to advance the construction progress of the pile foundation works. The project is expected to be completed in 2027.

　　As a key carrier of Licheng District's "high-quality educational resources crossing the river" project, the Jiangnan Campus project of Quanzhou No. 5 Middle School is located in Xinbu Community, Fuqiao Subdistrict. It is planned to build a full secondary school with 72 classes, including 36 senior high school classes and 36 junior high school classes. The total investment of the project is approximately 630 million yuan, with a total land area of 106.8 mu and a total construction area of 121,000 square meters. It mainly includes teaching buildings, laboratory buildings, comprehensive buildings, science and technology and art buildings, dormitory buildings, underground parking lots, etc. Once completed, it will inject new momentum into the high-quality development of regional education.　

　　At the project construction site, more than 100 workers and management personnel were seen performing their respective duties, 25 pieces of various types of machinery and equipment were operating efficiently, and processes such as earthwork backfilling and pile foundation construction were being advanced simultaneously, presenting a bustling scene of intensive work.

　　"At present, we are increasing input of personnel and machinery and equipment, focusing on accelerating the progress of the pile foundation works to ensure smooth linkage with subsequent construction milestones," said Huang Denghong, the project leader. He introduced that engineering test piles have been completed on site and pile foundation testing is underway; construction of 3,300 vibroflotation gravel piles for ground treatment has been completed; earthwork backfilling is 75% complete, and the pile foundation works are 15% complete.

　　According to the milestone schedule, pile foundation construction and basement works are expected to be completed in the second quarter of this year, main structure construction and decoration works will be carried out in the third and fourth quarters, and completion acceptance is targeted for July 2027.
