On January 9, concrete pouring was completed for the first pile foundation of the main pier of the swivel beam of the Beiyancun Grand Bridge on the Yichang-Fuling section (the "Yifu High-Speed Railway") of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-Speed Railway along the Yangtze River. This marks that the first swivel grand bridge on the entire line has entered the main construction stage, pressing the "acceleration button" for speeding up the construction of the Chongqing section of the Yifu High-Speed Railway.

      The Beiyancun Grand Bridge is located in Jiangbei Subdistrict, Fuling District, Chongqing, with a total length of 778.994 meters and a design of 174 pile foundations and 22 pier and abutment bodies. The geological conditions at the bridge site are complex, and the bridge crosses township roads and provincial roads multiple times and must also cross the operating Yuli Railway. To reduce the impact on the existing line, the swivel method was adopted in construction. The successful pouring of the first pile has laid a solid foundation for subsequent swivel construction.

      The single pile foundation of Pier 3 constructed this time has a diameter of 2 meters and a length of 35 meters, requiring 109.90 cubic meters of concrete. The construction area is adjacent to an operating railway line, placing extremely high requirements on construction safety and surrounding environment control. To avoid interference with railway operations, the project team accurately selected the low-clearance rotary drilling hole-forming process and innovatively introduced a "dual-system" control model, dynamically adjusting construction parameters through an automatic monitoring system and identifying quality hazards through an ultrasonic monitoring system. At the same time, a 24-hour uninterrupted fully automatic observation system was activated to monitor settlement and displacement of the railway line, building a dual safety defense line for both construction and railway operations.

      After the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-Speed Railway along the Yangtze River project is completed, it will form a new 350 km/h high-speed railway corridor between the Sichuan-Chongqing region and Central China, greatly facilitating travel for people along the line, and is of great significance for improving the comprehensive three-dimensional transportation corridor of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and promoting its high-quality development.
