On the morning of January 1, pile drivers roared at the construction site of the Phase III project of Shengzhou Mosang High-Tech Co., Ltd., which will produce 20,000 tons of functional protein fiber (silkworm cocoons) per year, and construction workers were carrying out pile foundation work.

The project represents the integration of technology and industry, using artificial feed instead of mulberry leaves to achieve year-round cocoon supply 365 days a year, changing the production model of mulberry planting and silkworm rearing that has lasted for five thousand years. In this process, innovation is being used to drive the project forward.
As one of Zhejiang's "Thousand Projects, Trillion Yuan" projects, the Phase III project of Mosang High-Tech to produce 20,000 tons of functional protein fiber (silkworm cocoons) per year covers a planned land area of about 180 mu, with an estimated investment of about 1.2 billion yuan, and is scheduled for completion before November 2027. The project adopts proprietary high-density factory-based silkworm rearing technology with artificial feed for all instars, and will build three production workshops, three office buildings, as well as supporting facilities such as warehouses, dormitories, and a canteen.
The dormitory building will basically be topped out before the Spring Festival, and Workshop No. 1 will strive to complete the pile foundation and basement works before the Spring Festival in 2026, laying a solid foundation for the next stage of work.
