On December 28, the highly anticipated Shanghai China Resources Center (Hua Mao Center) project reached a milestone moment—as giant cranes roared into operation, the first steel reinforcement cage for the project's underground diaphragm wall was successfully hoisted and lowered into place. This marks the project's entry into the substantive foundation pit construction phase, laying a solid foundation for the steady advancement of subsequent works.

On December 4, Shanghai Hua Mao Center held a grand groundbreaking ceremony, announcing the full launch of the project. In just over 20 days, the project team, with a sense of urgency that brooked no delay and a craftsman's spirit of striving for perfection, swiftly completed a series of preparatory tasks including site leveling, equipment mobilization, and fabrication of the first reinforcement cage, achieving a seamless transition from "ceremonial occasion" to "action blueprint" and fully demonstrating the "Hongkou speed" of North Bund development and construction.
As a flagship project in the North Bund area of Hongkou District, Shanghai Hua Mao Center bears the important mission of urban renewal and commercial upgrading. From the very beginning of planning, the project has adhered to a high starting point and high standards, committed to perfectly integrating historical character with modern commerce.
According to the plan, Shanghai Hua Mao Center will be fully completed and open for business by 2030. By then, it will not only be a complex integrating high-end retail and business offices, but will also become another striking "city名片" (city name card) for the North Bund and indeed for Shanghai, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of the regional economy. From the blueprint unveiled at the groundbreaking to the initial rise of steel and concrete today, Shanghai Hua Mao Center is advancing steadily, step by step, toward its brilliant debut in 2030.
