On December 22, construction of the Mishizhen section of the Jingzhou Ring Road portion of the Erguang Expressway, undertaken by Hubei Provincial Road & Bridge Group Co., Ltd., advanced in an orderly manner. Construction of the controlling project, the Songhu River Grand Bridge, achieved a phased breakthrough, laying a solid foundation for the overall advancement of the project.

As of now, all sub-projects are progressing smoothly. Specifically, 1,485 pile foundations have been completed, a completion rate of 77.8%; 244 tie beams have been completed, a completion rate of 24.2%; 11 pile caps have been completed, a completion rate of 34.28%; 453 pier columns have been completed, a completion rate of 25.03%; and 130 precast box girders have been completed, a completion rate of 3.27%.
