On December 6, with the final batch of concrete poured into place, the main structure of the LikasVue landscape complex project undertaken by the Hydropower Foundation Bureau was successfully topped out, marking the official completion of this new urban landmark with a total construction area of 131,200 square meters and a height of 138 meters.

As the second tallest building in Sabah State and the tallest building in the Likas area, the project integrates commercial, residential, hotel and other functions, and its construction is of great significance for enhancing urban development and living quality in Kota Kinabalu. On the occasion of the topping-out, the project team received a letter of commendation from the client, which highly recognized the professional strength demonstrated by the project team during construction and praised it for setting a new model in China-Malaysia engineering cooperation.

In terms of construction technology innovation, the project introduced for the first time in Sabah State a fully aluminum formwork quick-stripping system and a fully enclosed external climbing frame protection system, with more than 10,000 square meters of new aluminum formwork put into use, greatly improving construction efficiency while effectively ensuring green environmental protection and intrinsic safety at the construction site. The project strictly follows local Malaysian construction standards and, with a scientific management system, maintains an excellent record of "zero accidents."

With the main structure successfully topped out, the project will fully shift to the decoration and supporting facilities construction stage, and is scheduled for full completion and delivery in October 2026. Next, the project team will continue to ensure work safety, control construction quality, and strive to complete all construction tasks within the target period, helping the project to be completed smoothly on schedule.
