Recently, the Fengxin Gas Transmission Station of the Shanghai LNG Terminal and Pipeline Expansion Project, constructed by Shanghai Electric Power Construction No. 1 Company, successfully passed the "Safety Production Standardization Compliance Site Completion Assessment" of the Shanghai General Station of Quality and Safety Supervision, and completed its completion acceptance, injecting another key force into Shanghai's natural gas supply guarantee system.

The project is a national key oil and gas project and a major project in the 14th Five-Year Plans for energy development of Shanghai Municipality and Zhejiang Province, located on the seaside at the southeast corner of Zhelintang in Fengxian District, Shanghai. As the core hub for transporting liquefied natural gas from the Yangshan Deep-Water Port to the Shanghai mainland, it has a designed gas transmission capacity of 2.1 million cubic meters per hour and a design pressure of 9.2 MPa; once put into operation, it will significantly enhance the region's natural gas transmission and guarantee capacity.

During construction, the project department adhered to the construction philosophy of "quality as the foundation, safety first," promoted refined management through scientific coordination, and efficiently completed key processes such as pipeline welding in the process equipment area, equipment installation and pressure testing, purging, and drying. On the eve of National Day, it successfully completed the tie-in work with the subsea pipeline section, achieving full-station process pipeline connectivity. In the construction of individual buildings, the project department closely tracked milestones and optimized processes, completing decoration and delivery ahead of schedule. The project team strictly implemented the policy of "safety first, prevention foremost, comprehensive management," and through daily hazard inspections and closed-loop rectification, achieved zero safety accidents since the start of construction.

It is reported that after commissioning, the project will provide more than 1.32 billion cubic meters of gas storage capacity and a gas supply capacity of 2.1 million cubic meters per hour, and will interconnect and coordinate with the existing Shanghai LNG receiving terminal to jointly undertake Shanghai's natural gas supply guarantee, peak-shaving, and emergency reserve tasks.
