Recently, during a key maintenance operation at a wind farm project in Morocco, three "towering giants" from China contributed powerful strength. Zoomlion's 800-ton crawler crane, 1250-ton crawler crane, and 900-ton all-terrain crane formed an "iron triangle," delivering outstanding performance with zero failures and high safety while efficiently completing maintenance tasks on core wind turbine components, earning high praise from the project owner.

According to reports, the 800-ton and 1250-ton crawler cranes involved in the construction are models ZCC9800W and ZCC17000 respectively, and the 900-ton all-terrain crane is the ZAT9000V863G. These Zoomlion crane products were delivered from China to Morocco successively last year and this year, and with their arrival, local records for the largest-tonnage crawler crane and all-terrain crane have been continuously refreshed. The side-by-side operation of these three record-setting machines demonstrates the hard-core strength of China's high-end equipment.

During this operation, the three Zoomlion super-large-tonnage cranes demonstrated efficient and precise collaborative capabilities. The ZCC17000 crawler crane was responsible for the integrated lifting of the drivetrain system and hub, the ZCC9800W crawler crane undertook auxiliary lifting of drivetrain components throughout the process, and the ZAT9000V863G all-terrain crane, leveraging its excellent mobility and precise control, collaborated to complete the comprehensive maintenance of a 2.3 MW wind turbine.

It is worth noting that, in response to the special working conditions of dry, windy, and complex terrain in North Africa, these machines were specially optimized, including customized wind-load-resistant structures, high-temperature-adaptive configurations, and dedicated crawler systems, effectively overcoming various challenges, increasing overall operational efficiency by 15%, and significantly reducing wind farm downtime. The on-site project manager said: "The professional adaptability and intelligent performance of Chinese equipment exceeded expectations, setting a new standard for the maintenance and servicing of large wind turbines."
