On November 13, the Zhongdianjian Maizhokunggar 100 MW livestock-solar complementary hybrid photovoltaic power generation project and the Zhongdianjian Dagzê District 50 MW livestock-solar complementary hybrid photovoltaic power generation project, both invested in and constructed by PowerChina New Energy Company, successfully achieved full-capacity grid-connected power generation.

The projects are located in Maizhokunggar County and Dagzê District of Lhasa City respectively, at altitudes of 4,800–5,200 meters, with designed installed capacities of 100 MW and 50 MW on the AC side respectively. A new 220 kV booster station (shared) and a new 220 kV transmission line of 28 km (shared) were constructed. After being put into operation, the projects will provide strong support for solving the local power supply issue this winter and next spring, reduce fossil energy consumption and environmental pollution on the snow-covered plateau, and have far-reaching significance for promoting the sustainable development of the local economy and the Group's layout and development in the Tibet region.

Since construction began in August 2024, the construction team has fought with full effort, upheld firm conviction, and overcome difficulties to ensure the safe and orderly progress of project construction. They overcame numerous difficulties including severe cold and hypoxia, extreme low temperatures, difficult equipment transportation (a straight-line elevation difference of 1,000 m on the access road with 22 curves), local stability maintenance, and power grid lockdowns. Through the joint efforts of all participating units, the projects successfully completed the goal of full-capacity grid-connected power generation.
