The conference commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War concluded successfully a few days ago. In CCTV's footage, various types of domestically produced active-duty main combat equipment ignited the audience, and as the only equipment manufacturing enterprise in the industry assisting this live broadcast, Zoomlion used domestically produced high-end equipment to hold up the on-site "eye in the sky," helping CCTV present a stunning visual feast to global audiences and sounding the clarion call of progress for China's equipment manufacturing "top-tier."

After receiving the request, Zoomlion conducted multiple rounds of online and offline communication with the CCTV team and ultimately selected the models to carry out the mission, dispatching a total of 13 high-end, intelligent pieces of equipment, including truck cranes and aerial work platforms—the largest scale of use of these two types of equipment in the company's history of assisting CCTV live broadcast projects. All equipment achieved full domestic production of key core components, and the related core technologies of the complete machines enjoy completely independent intellectual property rights, assisting in stably capturing every wonderful moment with hardcore strength.

Truck Cranes

Six 130-ton truck cranes ZTC1300VS763-1 reach into the clouds. As star products launched in early 2025, they feature numerous highlights such as super-strong boom performance, stable lifting with convenient control, and intelligent, safe, reliable, and energy-efficient operation, and were upgraded in a targeted manner according to requirements. The complete vehicle weighs 50 tons, the main boom is 70 meters long, and the outrigger span (lateral × longitudinal) is 8.4 meters × 6.71 meters; 37 tons of counterweight are standard, meeting both on-site working condition requirements and safety; 26 tons of counterweight can be carried during relocation, which is convenient and fast; a customized jib meets the strength requirements of the jib under various working conditions; and the comprehensive application of technologies such as motion remote control, slewing alarm function, deflection compensation function, and fully automatic telescoping function makes operation safer and more intelligent.

Aerial Work Platforms

Seven Zoomlion straight-boom aerial work platforms also participated in this project, with models including ZT72J, ZT32J, and ZT22J. Among them, the ZT72J has a working height of 72.3 meters and a working radius of 32 meters, adopting a new polygonal innovative boom system that is lighter in weight, has good rigidity, smaller lateral deformation, and more stable control; it is equipped with a 13.1-meter ultra-long three-stage synchronized telescopic jib, giving the jib a wider working range and greater ease of use; the new high-precision X-type outrigger chassis provides higher control precision, smoother control, and better stability; and it is equipped with ultra-long boom high-efficiency control technology and high-precision dual-luffing cylinder smooth control technology, integrating a multi-sensor motion control system for safer, more efficient operation, better synchronization, and smoother lifting. The ZT32J and ZT22J adopt polygonal cross-section booms with strong fatigue resistance, good rigidity, smoother leveling action, and more sensitive chassis steering.

The ZT72J and ZT22J were also modified according to CCTV's requirements into dedicated aerial work equipment for filming equipped with high-precision gyroscopes and camera equipment; the ZT32J was modified and upgraded with a customized platform for aerial filming. All products were custom-developed with dedicated high-precision wired remote control systems and customized boom smooth control strategies to ensure stable and efficient operation, with motion precision reaching the millimeter level, making live broadcast filming clearer and more stable.
