2On March 25, 2025, the 14th Deep Foundation Engineering Development Forum officially kicked off.The forum was jointly hosted by the Deep Foundation and Underground Space Engineering Branch of the China Construction Industry Association, the Piling Machinery Branch of the Chinese Construction Machinery Society, the China Foundation Engineering Technology Innovation Intellectual Property Alliance, and the State Key Laboratory of Building Safety and Environment, attracting numerous industry authorities and experts to gather together.
After years of accumulation and development, the Deep Foundation Engineering Development Forum has consistently kept pace with the industry frontier and aligned with the direction of industry development. With its rich and diverse program settings, ever-expanding scale, and high degree of professionalism and market orientation, it has established an outstanding reputation in both the engineering and academic communities, becoming a highly influential platform for exchange and cooperation in the domestic deep foundation engineering field.

Amid warm applause, Wu Fumei, Secretary-General of the Deep Foundation and Underground Space Engineering Branch of the China Construction Industry Association, presided over the opening ceremony and, on behalf of the organizers, expressed sincere welcome and gratitude to the leaders, academicians, experts, and colleagues attending the forum.
With the theme of "Innovation, Intelligence, Low Carbon, and Digitalization," this forum aims to deeply integrate intelligent technology with deep foundation engineering and provide new momentum for the green and sustainable development of the industry. Subsequently, Zhang Jinxun, President of the Deep Foundation and Underground Space Engineering Branch of the China Construction Industry Association; Gao Wensheng, Chairman of the China Foundation Engineering Technology Innovation Intellectual Property Alliance; Liu Yuanhong, Chairman of the Piling Machinery Branch of the Chinese Construction Machinery Society; and Guo Tong, Dean of the School of Civil Engineering at Southeast University, delivered speeches in turn. The remarks of these leaders were far-sighted and not only charted the course for the forum but also conducted in-depth discussions on key issues such as technological innovation, intellectual property protection, and trends in piling machinery development, bringing profound inspiration to the participants and filling everyone with confidence in the future of the industry.

• Authoritative reports and forums: Seven industry development reports, one industry development forum, 16 conference reports, and 34 invited reports at sub-venues were arranged to deeply analyze the current state and future trends of the industry.
• Gathering of academic achievements: 55 academic papers were carefully collected and divided into five major sections—deep excavation engineering, engineering piles and foundations, ground treatment and composite foundations, engineering testing technology, and geotechnical engineering materials—comprehensively covering the complete chain of technology research and development, engineering practice, and standards innovation, providing participants with abundant academic resources.
The holding of this forum is expected to drive the deep foundation engineering field to new heights and help the industry advance steadily along the path of innovation, intelligence, and low carbon.
