On November 17, the first wind turbine foundation of the wind farm of the Oya Hybrid Energy Project in South Africa was poured, marking that the project construction has entered a new stage and laying a solid foundation for the subsequent wind turbine hoisting work.

The foundation poured this time is that of Turbine No. 18. The project department overcame multiple difficulties, including the great difficulty of building mountain roads, the complexity of rock blasting operations for foundations and platforms, the large engineering workload, harsh construction conditions, and frequent interruptions of construction caused by severe weather. Focusing closely on the established pouring target, it organized construction resources to enter the site quickly and in an orderly manner. At the same time, the project formulated construction incentive measures to stimulate employees' work enthusiasm and motivation, and arranged dedicated personnel to work together with the design institute, strictly grasping the review of drawings, strictly controlling every construction process, strengthening process supervision and inspection, making every effort to advance the project construction progress, and ensuring the safety and quality of project construction.

The wind farm of the Oya Project installs a total of 18 wind turbines with a capacity of 4.8 MW each, distributed along the mountain ridges at altitudes of 1,100 to 1,400 meters. The wind turbine foundation type is an anchor bolt cage gravity spread foundation, with a bottom diameter of 19.6 meters and a top diameter of 6.2 meters; a single foundation contains a total of 84 tons of steel reinforcement and about 525 cubic meters of concrete.
