In recent days, the construction site of the Rongxian Station Front Bridge project has been buzzing with machinery. Builders have seized the fine weather to accelerate construction and ensure smooth and efficient work during the holiday period. As of now, 80% of the construction work on the Station Front Bridge project has been completed.

"The Rongxian Station Front Bridge project has entered the main bridge construction stage. So far, four of the five approach bridge sections have been completed, and construction of the fifth and final section is now underway. The concrete substructure of the main bridge has been completed. All of us involved in the project have voluntarily given up the chance to go home for the National Day holiday and are working overtime in the hope of completing and opening the Station Front Bridge to traffic before the Spring Festival in 2025," said Huang Chaohua, project construction manager of the Rongxian Station Front Bridge.

The Rongxian Station Front Bridge project is located about 645 meters upstream of the Xiujiang Bridge in Rongxian urban area. It includes one new municipal bridge across the Xiujiang River, as well as the main-line approach roads and auxiliary roads on both sides of the bridge and connecting road works. The bridge has a total length of 590.5 meters and a design speed of 60 km/h. The main bridge deck is 42 meters wide, and the approach bridge is 37 meters wide, with a dual-direction six-lane design. The start and end points of the main-line approach roads on both sides of the bridge connect with Zongsi Road and Station Front Avenue respectively. The main-line approach road is about 509 meters long and 50 meters wide. The completion and use of this project will play an important leading and promoting role in the development of Rongxian's comprehensive passenger transport hub, north-south connectivity within the main urban area, and high-quality development of the county economy.
