During the Mid-Autumn holiday, the approach bridge at the north end of the newly expanded Jinan Yellow River Bridge was basically completed, with lane markings, streetlights, and road signs all in place.
Viewed from the air, the ramps on the east and west sides of the approach bridge spiral upward, forming two beautiful circular patterns that resemble a giant butterfly.
The approach bridge and ramps lead respectively to the bridge toll station and to major arterial roads such as National Highway 104 and Yellow River Avenue. Once open to traffic, they will become a very important river-crossing corridor running north-south through Jinan.
