The reporter learned from China State Railway Group that since the Belt and Road Initiative was proposed, China has adhered to the concept of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits and the principles of high standards, sustainability and benefiting people's livelihoods, and has created a number of exemplary landmark projects and connectivity projects.

The Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway has become a "golden招牌" of China-Indonesia Belt and Road cooperation, with the number of daily EMU trains increasing from 14 at the initial stage of operation to 52 during peak periods, carrying nearly 5 million passengers cumulatively;

The China-Laos Railway has seen booming passenger and freight traffic, and its role as an international golden corridor is increasingly prominent. The average daily number of passenger trains on the Lao section has increased from 2 at the initial stage of operation to 10 at present, carrying 273,000 cross-border passengers cumulatively, and the number of cross-border freight trains has increased from an average of 2 per day at the initial stage of operation to 14 at present, transporting nearly 10 million tons of cross-border goods cumulatively;

The Belgrade-Novi Sad section of the Hungary-Serbia Railway has operated safely and smoothly, carrying more than 8.2 million passengers cumulatively and providing high-quality transport services for the Serbian people;

The number and operating quality of international freight trains have continued to improve. Since the China-Europe Railway Express was unified under one brand in 2016, the annual number of China-Europe freight trains has grown from 1,702 that year to more than 17,000 in 2023, an increase of nearly 10 times, and the annual value of transported goods has grown from US$8 billion to US$56.7 billion.

Actively participating in high-level joint construction of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. Since the launch of the rail-sea intermodal freight trains of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor in 2017, the annual volume of containerized cargo has maintained rapid growth, completing 860,000 TEUs in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 13.8%.
