Recently, at the construction site of the Huashijiang Regulation Project in Mayang Miao Autonomous County, machines are roaring and workers are shuttling back and forth. The main construction of the project has entered its most intensive period, a scene that reflects the county's vigorous efforts to advance water conservancy projects funded by additional government bonds in 2024. This year, Mayang Miao Autonomous County has a total of 8 water conservancy projects funded by additional government bonds, all of which started construction by the end of April. At present, project construction is "accelerating."
The 8 water conservancy projects funded by additional government bonds in Mayang Miao Autonomous County in 2024 are: the Majing'ao Power Station Reservoir Reinforcement Project, the Huangtuxi Reservoir Reinforcement Project, the Huashijiang Regulation Project, the Reinforcement of Small Dangerous Reservoirs (19 reservoirs), the New Small Irrigation District Project, the Small Reservoir Safety Monitoring Facilities Construction Project, the Puzixi Area Flood Control and Drainage Regulation Project, and the Urban Storage and Drainage Channel Project.
In view of the characteristics of the additional government bond water conservancy projects—namely their concentration, large funding volume, heavy workload, and high implementation requirements—the county Water Resources Bureau established a special task force for additional government bond projects and implemented a project scheduling mechanism, achieving project-based advancement, list-based scheduling, and ledger-based management. It schedules the progress of bond-funded projects item by item and promptly coordinates to resolve problems arising during project implementation. As of now, the county's additional government bond water conservancy projects have completed an engineering investment of 193 million yuan, with construction progress exceeding 60%.
