China's independently developed new-generation pumped-storage AI data analysis platform was recently officially put into operation in Guangzhou. Pumped-storage facilities accounting for nearly one-fifth of the country's installed capacity have fully achieved AI management, enhancing the regulation capability of the power system.

It is understood that this AI platform, through real-time data collection from more than 300,000 measurement points, has connected the full equipment data of seven pumped-storage power stations with a total installed capacity of 10.28 million kilowatts.

Relying on the input and output of more than 5,000 AI algorithms, the platform can accurately diagnose unit conditions. After detecting data anomalies, it completes information analysis at millisecond speed, thereby identifying the causes of abnormal equipment states.

It enables online AI inspection, replacing 90% of manual offline inspections, minimizes unit outage maintenance time to the greatest extent, and creates economic benefits of about 35 million yuan per year.
