On August 28, the main structure construction of the Taohuaxi Widened Bridge, part of the Wutaishan Interchange to Shuangshan Tunnel project on the Third Longitudinal Line of the expressway in Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, has been fully completed.

The Wutaishan Interchange to Shuangshan Tunnel section reconstruction project, as an important component of the "Third Longitudinal Line" in Chongqing's "Six Horizontal and Seven Longitudinal" expressway network structure, is located in Dadukou District and Jiulongpo District of Chongqing and is a municipal-level key livelihood project. After the project is completed and opened to traffic, it will alleviate traffic pressure on the Third Longitudinal Line of the expressway during peak periods, help strengthen traffic connections between Dadukou District and Jiulongpo District, Jiangbei District, and Yubei District, and facilitate public travel.

At present, the Wutaishan Interchange to Shuangshan Tunnel section reconstruction project is under construction across the entire line. As of August this year, approximately 85% of the overall project has been completed, and the main line is planned to be fully connected by the end of this year.
