September 2 (Xinhua) — According to the website of the National Meteorological Center, the National Meteorological Center continued to issue a yellow high-temperature warning at 6:00 on September 2.

It is expected that during the daytime of September 2, high-temperature weather of 35–36°C will occur in the Sichuan Basin, Jianghan, western Jianghuai, Jiangnan, central and eastern South China, and other areas. Among them, in parts of southern Shaanxi, central and eastern Sichuan, Chongqing, eastern Guizhou, western and southeastern Hubei, most of Hunan, Jiangxi, most of Zhejiang, northern Guangdong, eastern Fujian, and other places, the maximum temperature will reach 37–39°C, and in western Chongqing, northwestern Jiangxi, and other places it may locally exceed 40°C.
