On the morning of December 28, the underground diaphragm wall project of the open-cut section and Xilang shaft of the Guangzhou South Railway Station Connection Line, constructed by Qiancheng Pile Engineering, commenced smoothly, and a grand commencement ceremony was held on site.

Chen Xiaozhong, Executive Deputy Manager of the open-cut section and Xilang shaft project of the Guangzhou South Railway Station Connection Line of the general contractor China Railway 18th Bureau; Chen Ming, Executive Deputy Secretary; Ma Shuai, Safety Director; Luo Shihua, Work Area Manager; Zeng Penggao, Director of the Materials Department, and other leaders visited to provide guidance. Huang Jiyong, General Manager of Qiancheng Pile Engineering and Commander of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Engineering Command; Yuan Junjie, Assistant General Manager of the Geotechnical Engineering Business Division, and other leaders attended to offer congratulations. Project Manager Tian Qing, together with all employees of the project team, jointly witnessed this important moment of commencement!

At the ceremony site, the leaders of the general contractor expressed congratulations on the official commencement of the project, highly praised the comprehensive strength of Qiancheng Pile Engineering, and placed earnest expectations on the future construction of the project. They hoped that the project construction team would complete the construction task of this project with high quality, high efficiency, high standards, safety assurance, and adherence to milestones, laying a solid foundation for further deepening cooperation between the two parties and paving the way for achieving win-win results together.

On behalf of Chairman Guo Kecheng of the company, General Manager Huang Jiyong conveyed congratulations on the official commencement of the project and gave instructions and requirements regarding project process management, quality, and safety. He pointed out that this project is another key project in which Qiancheng Pile Engineering has cooperated with China Railway 18th Bureau in the South China region after the North China and West China regions. It is also another representative project in which Qiancheng Pile Engineering has deeply participated in the infrastructure construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and one of Qiancheng Pile Engineering's "good start" projects and major projects in 2024. He required the project team to continue to carry forward the spirit of the Qiancheng iron army—brave in striving and daring to fight tough battles—to respond quickly to the client's construction requirements and resolutely implement the client's work instructions. During construction, they must vigorously grasp safety and quality, strictly control every process, and, while completing the project construction task on schedule and successfully, fully demonstrate Qiancheng Pile Engineering's professional advantages as a *** "specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative" little giant enterprise, bring value-added services to customers, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results for both parties.

On behalf of the project team, Project Manager Tian Qing solemnly stated that the project department would take this commencement as an opportunity, uphold the concept of "commencement means all-out effort," quickly set off a construction boom, resolutely implement the instructions and requirements of the general contractor and supervisor regarding the project, work together, and go all out to promote high-quality project construction, repaying the heavy trust of the general contractor and the company with outstanding construction performance!

The Guangzhou South Railway Station Connection Line passes through Liwan District of Guangzhou, Nanhai District of Foshan, and Panyu District of Guangzhou. The line starts from Guangzhou Station of the Guangzhou railway hub, uses the existing Guangzhou-Maoming Railway to the Wuyanqiao junction, and then the newly built line runs south in tunnel form along the planned urban expressway, introducing into Guangzhou South Railway Station. After the project is completed, it can connect major passenger stations such as Guangzhou, Guangzhou Baiyun, and Guangzhou South, realize direct through services from Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Macao to downtown Guangzhou, further improve interconnectivity among the main passenger stations of the Guangzhou hub, enhance the transport flexibility of the hub and road network, strengthen Guangzhou's positioning as the engine of the Greater Bay Area, and become strong support for building a *** transportation hub.

Qiancheng Pile Engineering is constructing 15 underground diaphragm wall panels for the Xilang shaft, with construction expected to be completed by the end of January 2024; and 125 underground diaphragm wall panels for the open-cut section, with a planned construction period of about 45 days.
