On November 16, 2023 local time, Uzbek President Mirziyoyev and his delegation visited the tunnel pile foundation project at the new city transportation hub in the capital Tashkent for an on-site inspection and supervision. Ye Anping, General Manager of Wuxi Taiheng Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd., and Zhang Erqing, the project department head, accompanied and introduced the on-site construction progress.

This project is an important infrastructure construction undertaken by a local partner of Tysim Machinery, located in the central area of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. It is reported that Taiheng Foundation dispatched a professional team to provide project management and construction method support. The local partner AVP Group is committed to contributing to the economic development and infrastructure construction of the region. The project is scheduled to last 4 months. The pile foundation is located near a river beach, with a pile diameter of 1 meter and a pile depth of 24 meters. The main geological distribution consists of large-diameter cobbles over 35 cm in diameter and loose sand layers. In this project, the cobble layer is difficult to drill through, the sand layer is prone to hole collapse, the schedule is tight, and construction is difficult. To ensure smooth construction and on-time completion of the project, the head and chief technical engineer of Taiheng Foundation formulated a detailed construction plan based on actual site conditions, adopting 15-meter-long casings and the mud slurry wall protection process, and deploying Tysim Machinery's high-efficiency, high-reliability KR220C and KR360C rotary drilling rigs on Caterpillar chassis, along with auxiliary equipment such as crawler telescopic-boom cranes, loaders, and excavators for construction. The construction efficiency exceeded that of comparable equipment on site.

During the inspection, the Uzbek President gained a detailed understanding of the project's construction plan and on-site construction progress, and highly praised the hard work of the on-site personnel. He pointed out that the construction of this project is of great significance in promoting local regional economic development, improving people's livelihood and well-being, and enhancing the city's image and environmental quality, and expressed the hope that the Chinese enterprise will continue to maintain high standards of work quality and capability.

The Uzbek President's personal visit to the project site for inspection also established a good image and reputation for Chinese enterprises undertaking projects overseas, and will further promote cooperation and exchanges between China and Uzbekistan in trade, investment, and other areas.
